Whistleblower Protection Act

In 2019, the EU adopted a directive to protect whistleblowers, which is now entering into force through national legislation in its member states. Therefore, all private companies in the EU with more than 249 employees and public bodies must have an internal whistleblowing system in place by 17 December 2021. From the end of 2023, the requirement will also apply to companies with more than 49 employees. You can read more about the laws in your country here.
